Touching people
1. What do you think about this project and photo essay?
I think this photo essay is commendable and it is one that should be looked into. I think it is very interesting.
2. What would you do if someone approached you with a camera and asked you to participate in a photo shoot and then asked you to touch a stranger?
I think I would participate in the photo shoot because I don't have anything against anyone and it might create a new friendship.
3. Think of an unusual photo shoot similar to this one that you think would be fun to go and shoot.
I think it will be interesting because It keeps you guessing you will never know what will happen.
Finally, tell me what you thought of the photography, did the photographer think about the rules of photography that you know about? What types of photos did he take?

The Tsunami wave slowly makes its way onto one of the cities of Japan. This photo is an amazing shot! you can see how high the huge wave is getting.
This photo is traumatizing because a mass amount of houses have been reduced to debris. Its mind boggling how a country that was intact and then within minutes it is demolished...
The majority of the city is covered it water many cars are flipped over, and pieces of roof tops are being swept up by relief workers.

Sports Preview Assignment Warm Up- Umar Kurugu
Why is this part of a winning sports photography portfolio?
This photo is part of a winning sports photography portfolio because it show the act of celebration by the football team and a the climax of excitement and victory they pour a jug of water on their head coach in order to honor him for his effort in putting the team together and giving them success. It also a practice of my sports teams to pour Gatorade or water on their coach in celebration.
What is shutter speed? Shutter speed is the amount of time the shutter on a camera stays open it order to take a picture.
Is this a key moment? Yes it is because it is the team's appreciation for their coach and all of his hard-work.
Could this have been planned? Yes I most likely believe that it was planned.
What advanced techniques are present in this photo?

Cool Advertising Idea- Umar Kurugu
I like this photo because of the way it grabs my attention. The image of the Eiffel Tower creates a frame for the subject which is the AT&T phone. So I thought that it was really cool. This image would influence me to buy this phone if I had AT&T as my phone service.
